screen-shot-2016-11-11-at-11-11-51-amFreshman midfielder Keegan Kelly has played 123 minutes in the last two weeks, including a start in the regular season finale. Kelly spoke with WMUC Sports’ Emily Olsen about how Maryland has exceeded his expectations.

Kelly has seen a spike in minutes in the last three games, but so has his teammate junior George Campbell, who scored the overtime game winner in the quarterfinal match.

“George was definitely a big influence in me coming here in the first place,” Kelly said. “He was like a big brother to me when I was at McDonough.”kelly-and-campbell

The two players have enjoyed increased minutes together heading into the postseason.
