WMUC Sports has a long standing tradition of broadcasting away Terrapin sporting events. For more than six decades, the station has travelled across the country to make sure every single Maryland athletic event gets on the air. In recent years, due to budgetary concerns, WMUC Sports has not been able to travel to any away matches. That all changed two years ago with the launch of the #ItsAboutYou campaign. The station raised $15,000 for travel. This year, with the help of our amazing alumni and supporters, we once again surpassed our goal of $8,000. Combined, these campaigns allow us to create a sustainable yearly fundraising plan, create an annual campaign consisting of a 24 hour marathon and on location talk shows. It’s your Terps. Your station. Thank YOU for helping send us across the nation.
Even though our LaunchUMD campaign is over, you can still donate to the station’s travel fund at any time here.
We need your help to continue to cover your Terps on your station across the nation.
