COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Over the last 12 months, WMUC Sports has expanded its coverage. As well as continuing to bring excellent game broadcasts, we have improved our online written content while also setting up a successful podcast. We have hit the road as often as possible.

Our broadcasters have covered games at 23 different stadiums since 2019, across nine states and Washington, D.C. These games have included regular season, Big Ten tournament, and NCAA Tournament clashes between Maryland and some of the best teams in the nation. We are proud to have garnered over 3,600 unique listeners of 10 Terrapin sporting events in the last five months.
But in order to continue to travel to 23 locations to cover 11 Division I sports, we need your help. Therefore, our goals for this year’s #YourTerpsYourStation fundraiser are increasing our capabilities to travel to regular season games and even more tournament bouts.
While our team’s main priority is providing coverage for Maryland sports, we also pride ourselves in the work our alumni do in the sports and TV/radio industries once they graduate. Recent alumni of our organization have gone on to work at ESPN, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, MLB Network, WUSA9, NBC4 Washington, Minor League Baseball, and various TV and radio stations across the country.
