Maryland defeated the Princeton University Tigers 8-1 on Wednesday in Princeton, N.J. to extend their win streak to seven straight.
Maryland continued their offensive dominance as five different players scored at least one goal.
Senior midfielder/forward Maxine Fluharty led the way with three scores, and senior forward Welma Luus followed her up with two goals of her own. Senior forward Katie Gerzabek, junior forward/midfielder Alyssa Parker and freshman midfielder Lein Holsboer all contributed one point as well.
Terps goalkeeper Brooke Cabrera contributed another strong performance, recording four saves while only surrendering one goal to Princeton’s Cat Caro.
Wednesday’s victory extended the team’s winning streak to seven consecutive games.
The Terps will take on Rutgers on Sunday at 1 p.m.
