Despite maintaining a 1-0 lead for most of the game, the Maryland Terrapins Baseball team fell to the VCU Rams in Virginia Tuesday night, 2-1, after a 10-inning battle.
LaMonte Wade led the Terps offensively with two hits and the one RBI on the night, but Maryland as a team only managed to put together six hits. The Rams, on the other hand, produced ten hits, one of which was Logan Farrar’s walk-off single in the tenth.
The Terps’ Zach Morris was assigned the loss, bumping him to 3-2 on the season. The teams will face each other again Wednesday night, this time in College Park, starting at 6 p.m.
